Bailey Kolaras - Dorothy

Bailey has enjoyed dancing from the time she could walk and has been performing ever since. As a pre-professional dancer, Bailey has trained at Broadway Dance Center, The Alvin Ailey School, Jaffrey Ballet School, STEPS On Broadway and currently at Center Stage Dance & Theater School and Hun Dance at The Hun School of Princeton. Bailey has performed Dorothy in Over The Rainbow since its creation, worked commercially with Lane Napper of Nickelodeon, performed the principal role of the Arabian Princess in the Nutcracker as well as various other performances including award winning competitive solo performances.

Tristan Garahan - Tin-Man

Tristan is the original Tin Man throughout OTR's nearly 4 year journey. He trained at Center Stage Dance and Theater school and was a member of their pre-professional hip-hop, Jazz, lyrical and tap companies. He also trained at Broadway Dance Center in Hip Hop and has done numerous dance workshops and a Man in Motion video. He was casted as Ryan in High School Musical, Moonface in Anything Goes and Abner in Lil Abner.

Francesca Giordano - Glinda

Francesca studies dance, acting, singing, musical theatre at Center Stage Dance and Theatre School in East Brunswick, New Jersey. Attends the Howel\ FPAC, Freehold Performing Arts Center, program for dance.

Greg Williams - Oz

Greg has been tapping for the past five years with Center Stage Dance and Theatre School in East Brunswick, NJ and has been a member of their notorious Hoofers Club for the past two years. Greg wishes to open a studio of his own one day.

Matt Furlong - Lead Henchmen

FMatt attends Franklin High School and has performed in Sister Act, Into the Woods, Westside Story, RENT, Dream Girls. New Jersey Repertoire Theater: Little Women , 13, Grease, and 9 to 5. lnspira Performing Arts Cultural Center (hip-hop, tap, ballet) . Over The Rainbow (Henchmen - 4th production). Influence - Championship Martial Arts (weapon and arts training).

Brooke Rotondo - Scarecrow

Brooke is a backup dancer for Teen Nick Star & Artist Meredith O'Connor, Opening number performer at New York & LA Fashion week, YAGP Gala performer at the Lincoln Center in NYC, and half time performer for the Brooklyn Nets as a Brooklyn All Stars team member. Brooke's TV /FILM cred its; " Hasbro", Music Video for art ist "Jax" and for artist " Marz", cast of "Man-In-Motion" and " LaFolia"' which earned her an IMDB credit. Brooke is excited to be debuting Off Broadway in Over The Rainbow.

Arianna Mumbanda - Lion

Arianna is delighted to be making her Off Broadway debut with Over The Rambow. Recent/Favorite credits include Legally Blonde (Brooke Wyndham) & Catch Me if You Can (Dance Ensemble). Arianna is proud of the cast for their hard work and dedication. She’s Looking forward to future productions on the Broadway Stage.

Courtney Saffold -Lesd Emerald

Courtney (Co-Dance Captain) has been featured in Man in Motion: She's the One & Leave it on the Floor (Dancer). Works by Marissa Jean, Yuki Fukui, and Kristen Carcone (Kinections Dancegroup) . Dance Major at OCVTS Performing Arts Academy. Courtney thanks her family for supporting her throughout every opportunity. She appreciates the cast and crew of OTR for making this the most rewarding experience of her life.

Marlowe Scott

(Executive Producer, Director, Choreographer

Marlowe Scott began his dance training in his hometown Elizabeth, NJ. He transferred his training to Center Stage Dance and Theatre school in East Brunswick, NJ. He was a competitive dancer in tap and jazz earning several regional and national titles. Marlowe continued his dance training at the University of the North Carolina School of the Arts in Winston-Salem, NC. After finishing school he received a scholarship to attend the Alvin Ailey American Dance Center in Manhattan. He performed with the Alvin Ailey company at City Center in NYC.

Marlowe has toured Europe as a backup dancer for 103.5 KTU's dance music Diva Despina Vendi (I Can't Be) and appeared in her music videos. Returning to the states he's performed choreography by former Madonna dancer Slam and has done industrial performances for Toyota. Marlowe has appeared in the Off-Broadway musical Thin Line produced by Vogue magazine's, Joe Zee. Marlowe performs every year in Manhattan's annual Mega-Event Broadway Bares at Hammerstein Ballroom, dancing with stars Adam LambertJohn Stamos, Christina Applegate and Laverne Cox.

Marlowe's former students have been signed by top agencies in the industry. They have competed on So You Think You Can Dance, and performed with Chris BrownMeghan TrainorKaty PerryTaylor Swift and Beyoncé. His former students are alsocurrently working on Broadway in Aladdin, The King and I, Anastasia, Frozen, Hamilton and the leading role in Pretty Woman the musical. Marlowe has been a competitive dance judge for the past 10 years.

Clarissa Vickerie

Stage and Talent Manager, Social Media Director

A New York City based actress, is delighted to be the Talent Director, Social Media Supervisor and Stage Manager for OTR! Clarissa has been the Stage Manager for Over the Rainbow: The Rock Ballet since 2016 and is so proud of how much her OTR family has grown.   Her most recent works include performing in Rosy Crimson at the Queens MuseumA Sketch of New York at The Producers Club, and LORDES at the New Ohio Theater. She is currently a drama student in her Junior year at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts where she received training at the Atlantic Acting School and at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London.

 

Nicole Geris

Assistant Stage Manager

 Nicole has been involved in theatre for the past decade. Working on crew for several different shows through out high school varying from outdoor events to musical numbers. Nicole has known Marlowe for many years, he was her dance instructor and she was in the competition number of Over The Rainbow. Nicole is currently in her Sophomore year at Drexel University for Psychology. Nicole is honored to be the assistant stage manager for this incredible production.

Dennis Andreas

Production Manager, Art and Design Director

Dennis has always been driven to create and collaborate with others. He's a graduate from SUNY Purchase with a BFA in Fine Arts. His background in the arts quickly brought him into the professional dance world where he used his skills to capture the human body in motion. He has developed a rich professional career focused on cinematography, lighting and production for live dance performances. When Dennis is not working on OTR he manages the media department of a National Dance Competition where he was recently awarded an ADCC industry award for Excellence in Production. He can be found freelancing client work all over NYC for Apple, The MTA, Comedy Central, and Outfront Media. In his spare time he enjoys working on small sets and productions as he moves closer to camera and production work in television and film. 

 

Margaret Garrity

Lighting and Scenic Design

Margaret is a Sophomore at Pace University currently working on her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree as a Production and Design major and Management minor. Margaret has a passion and drive for executing well-crafted and memorable live performance designs. She has recently been nominated and won the award for ‘Best Lighting Design’ at the 2019 New York Summer Theater Festival for a past production of Over The Rainbow at the Hudson Guild Theater. While her main focus is lighting design, she is thrilled for the opportunity to explore more about scenic design through Over The Rainbow. Margaret will continue to work as a designer for dance in the future because dance is art. Every dance offers an opportunity to create new and exciting worlds.
