The energized all kids cast of Over The Rainbow - The Rock Ballet tackle the classic Wizard of Oz and tell their modernized story through dance, 2K pop music and innovative customized technology. The production lead by Marlowe Scott, visionary, in association with branding expert, Patricia Kolaras, Esq.
Over The Rainbow is over three years in the making, starting with a competition dance idea of Scott’s. Scott with Kolaras are blending the exciting talents of performers who have been with the production since 2016 with strong new cast members. The cast and crew of Over The Rainbow have made consistent and strategic strides to become the powerhouse production it is today and revolutionizing the theatre experience.
The Rock Ballet debuted Off Broadway with a performance run July 2019 in which all shows sold out in one hour. The production won Most Creative Musical, Best Director, and Best Lighting Design at the NYC Theatre Festival. OTR continued its momentum in the New Year with another sold out Off Broadway run at the Mainstage Theatre on 42nd st. The all star youth cast received standing ovations and left the NYC Theatre community wanting more.

Marlowe Scott, the visionary, director and choreographer behind Over The Rainbow, will blow you away with this off-Broadway twist of The Wizard of Oz! Over The Rainbow is three years in the making, starting with a competition dance idea of Marlowe's. He has the unique ability to tell stories through dance and transform classical favorites into one-of a-kind productions. Under Scott's direction, young talented dancers have transformed The Wizard of Oz into a modern-day kid only rock ballet that incorporates today's hit songs and various dance styles.
